World of Laughter was
setup in July 1999 by a then 12 year old boy called Thomas Baynes. It was
then known as Classic Comedy online and used free space from TRIPOD! In
march 2000 the site was renamed World of Laughter and the domain name www.laughterworld.co.uk
was registered. In December 2000 the domain name www.worldoflaughter.net
was purchased. With help and funding from Michael Baynes, (Thomas' dad)
World of Laughter has grown and now the site and other features is
run by a team of 6 people ranging in age from 13, to 54. Software for application
making was purchased in early 2000 and now we can offer downloads made
by us as well as sell screen-savers products to support the cost of the
site, so please buy one and help support us!
